Mexico vs. Portugal, Part 1

Mohammad, from Kabul Bakery: I want Portugal. You know I lived in Lisbon before I came here? For ten years I was Merchant Marine. I made so much money -- nothing to spend on there. I built house in Karachi that is worth half million dollars. But here I spend everything. There is so much to buy here. So I can't go back now. How can I return with no money?

Angel (from Ecuador): Portugal. My Mexican friends laughed at me when Ecuador lost last week. So I don't care about Mexico now.

Jimmy (from D.A. Deli): I dunno. I'm Greek.

Beverage distributors (from the Dominican Republic): Mexico! Yeah, I know, we don't even have a soccer team but who cares today?

Alfonso (Safeway, Mexican): Ra ra Mexico!

Fausto, Julio, Jose and George (from Ecuador and Honduras): Brazil gonna win.

Maria (Skyline Auto Repair, from Portugal): Portugal, they play so well.

Wilson (of Alan Motor): Mexico, my heart, my soul.

Commander Joseph Klein (American Legion 1630 Club): World Cup? No, I'm sorry, hon. I just follow the horses.
